Mochammad Jati Pamungkas · Product Designer & Frontend Developer
I design with the developer
in the room.
Five years of frontend means feasibility gets decided at the canvas, not discovered in the build.
About
Design that survives engineering.
I'm a product designer with 4 years on data-heavy interfaces, and 5 years of frontend before that. I design for what actually gets built.
Most recently at KOMPAS.com, Indonesia's largest news publisher, where I led the design system and redesigned National Geographic Indonesia.
What I do best
- Complex, data-heavy interfaces at news-platform scale
- Design systems and token architecture, mirrored in code
- Design intent that survives engineering, because I've done the engineering
Capabilities
Design-first, built to ship.
I go end-to-end: product strategy, interface design, and the frontend code to ship it. I've worked both sides of the handoff, so I know exactly where designs get lost.

Selected Work
Things I've built and shipped.
Editorial platforms, design systems, and casual games, each shipped to real users.
